Video: A Duckling Redux

By Published On: October 16th, 20200.5 min readCategories: Garden

Ah, kids they grow up so fast… especially if you’re a duck.

Back in August one of our females emerged from the lavender garden with 13 new ducklings. They’d hang out by the vegetable garden and after a while developed a taste for tomatoes tossed to them from the garden. (None of the other ducks care at all about tomatoes.)

Now, when we’re trying to find out who’s who among the many sub-flocks, I toss a few tomatoes out and the ducklings quickly reveal themselves. Here’s a sub 30-second video of them 60 days ago and now.
