Zukes n’ Cukes
Touring the vegetable garden I can see that among those veggies leaping into action are the zucchini and cucumber. The zucchini are a cross between 8-ball and Striata di Italia, which I’ve found to be a nice combination of mid-sized fruit with small seeds, and a compact bush habit.
The cucumbers are Delikatesse, an open pollinated German heirloom that works both as a pickle when small, and a good slicer when large.
