Cattle Drive (Sage’s Acre Style)

By Published On: March 12th, 20240.4 min readCategories: Garden

We prefer to leave the livestock on the open range here at The Acre. But sometimes they break through the fence and get up near the homestead where they can do a lot of damage.

It’s those times when we have to saddle up and drive the herd (or at least part of the herd) back down into the fenced pasture.

Here’s a quick video of our latest drive.

I’m just a guy with nearly an acre of dirt, a nice little mid-century ranch house and a near-perfect climate. But in my mind I’m a landscaper survivalist craftsman chef naturalist with a barbeque the size of a VW and my own cable TV show. I like to write about the stuff I build, grow and see here at Sage's Acre.
