A golden mid-August sunset

Sunset on August 13th, 2024

It’s mid-August and the hot, dog days of summer are heavy up on us. But the evenings are quite nice. The temperatures cool quickly and the sunsets are golden.

Here is the sunset last night. Just as the sun dipped below the horizon the sky lit orange and made everything appear golden for a moment.

Nice.
