Winter’s Final Sunset

A sunset viewed from the top of a hill

The final sunset of winter 2025. Hello spring!

Sunset here in San Diego was at 7PM last night, the last sunset of the 2024/2025 winter. As winters go, it wasn’t a bad one. Drier and cooler than average, but not so much that anyone will remember it. Now that spring is here, the length of the day will increase rapidly and slow as we head into May and June.

Personally, I’m ready for warmer weather as I have plants idling in the greenhouse that definitely need to come outdoors. I’m pretty sure the plants and animals know it’s spring now as I saw a swarm of bees heading off into the woods just a few minutes ago.

See ya winter!
