Blackberries Soon

Blackberries are coming in heavy. They’re usually ready to harvest the first week of June. Looks like they might be ready by the end of May this year.

Last year we picked nearly 30 pounds of berries. Ate a lot fresh, made plenty of pies and jammed the rest. As I recall, we had purple fingers for weeks.
