Over-Achieving Aeonium

By Published On: March 5th, 20210.4 min readCategories: Photos

This little guy is an Aeonium that probably fell off a planter I was moving to the succulent garden out front a few weeks back. Succulent volunteers are a dime a dozen here, so to avoid being overrun, I usually pick them up and dispose of them. I think this one knows that, so it’s doing its best imitation of a rose in the rocks.

I’ve decided it can stay (at least for now).

I’m just a guy with nearly an acre of dirt, a nice little mid-century ranch house and a near-perfect climate. But in my mind I’m a landscaper survivalist craftsman chef naturalist with a barbeque the size of a VW and my own cable TV show. I like to write about the stuff I build, grow and see here at Sage's Acre.
