Welcome to Sunday dinner at Sage’s Acre.

This evening’s meal will be 16-ounce hand-carved Australian Wagyu Pichana steaks rubbed with kosher salt, cracked pepper, and garlic, and rotisseried over a cured oak fire.

Your sides will be fresh sweet corn roasted in the husk and fire-baked potato.

And for desert, we will be having freshly-baked cheesecake with strawberries from the garden.

Who needs a steakhouse when you’ve got this right at home?

I’m just a guy with nearly an acre of dirt, a nice little mid-century ranch house and a near-perfect climate. But in my mind I’m a landscaper survivalist craftsman chef naturalist with a barbeque the size of a VW and my own cable TV show. I like to write about the stuff I build, grow and see here at Sage's Acre.
