Last Sunset of Summer 2022

Fall begins this evening

A sunset over hills

The sun sets into the Pacific Ocean for the last time in the summer of 2022

Autumn technically doesn’t begin until 6:08PM (Pacific) on September 22nd here in San Diego, about 40 minutes before sunset, so yesterday’s was the last sunset of the summer.

The day was clear skies, a light breeze and temperatures in the high 70’s. Nothing spectacular, but altogether pleasant. Last night’s sunset was the same. Nothing spectacular, but nice to look at.

I’m just a guy with nearly an acre of dirt, a nice little mid-century ranch house and a near-perfect climate. But in my mind I’m a landscaper survivalist craftsman chef naturalist with a barbeque the size of a VW and my own cable TV show. I like to write about the stuff I build, grow and see here at Sage's Acre.
